VELOCITYDYAD RIM - BROMPTON 16” (349)
These Velocity Dyad rims (formally Aeroheat) are both lighter and stronger than the standard Brompton rims. Only saving a modest 20 grams each over the Brompton rim but when you consider the rotational weight that it also saves, this upgrade will make a heck of a diffrence to the ride of your Brompton.
The front wheel can even be built using half the number of spokes creating an even lighter wheel that does not sacrifice strength in most situations. The rear wheel can just be rebuilt using double butted spokes to your existing hub. Contact us for custom build options and availability.
