Cargo Bikes

These bikes are built to carry huge loads. They have longer wheelbases to spread the load as well as having a stronger frame, more powerful brakes, a more durable drive train and stronger wheels. Our cargo bikes have carrying capacities upwards of 200kg and as such are generally electrically assisted to manage the weight and ease the ride. We find, here in Toronto, that an electric pedal assisted cargo bike allows us to move our kids or cargo effortlessly around the city.

We carry the highest quality European cargo bikes. These bikes meet stringent European safety standards and are exceptionally well suited to carrying kids. Cargo trikes offer excellent low speed stability and huge cargo capacity. Two wheeled Bakfiets or bucket bikes balance cargo capacity with excellent manoeuvrability at speed. Long-tail cargo bikes ride a lot like a regular bike when unloaded and can carry huge panniers, and larger kids or even adults. Our brands include Urban Arrow, Winther, and Riese and Muller.
