The Tubus Tara Lowrider Big Apple is the same rack that has been used on world tours for over 25 years but with an allowance for fatter tires. Made from chromoly steel, the Tara is incredibly strong and able to carry significant weight on your front forks - almost 40 lbs (18kg). The folks at Tubus have updated the Tara's design over the years, including adding a longitudinal mounting slot and improving the eyelet mounts to ensure it fits as many bikes as possible.
