The Briq-S has an irresistible combination of bright, small and inexpensive, and it is the newest member of the LUMOTEC-Family from busch+müller that has so often proven its worth. Despite it’s small size it throws out a very notable 60 Lux. It is available in versions for dynamo power or for E-Bike connection directly to the on-board supply. It comes down to a touch more width: At least just as surprising as the compactness of the Briq-S are the strong cuboid lines around this edgy design, that give the light its name. This less-than-usual shape has not been left to chance, but is moreover a result of the extensive know-how of the light experts at Meinerzhagen. Clever use of the wider mirrored reflector, added to a high-performance LED leads to an extremely good beam pattern that is wide and evenly spread across the whole road. It is truly a beam-pattern of a quality that has been only found in at least one, if not more cost levels above the price tag of this light.
Due to its compact form and horizontal position, the light is well suited to a central fixing position on the handlebar or faceplate, where this design smoothly fits in to the lines of the bike itself. Nonetheless, it will just as well fit on a fork mount, and looks particularly good under a front rack or basket.
