When it comes to lights, illumination is key, so we have put together three light options from Spanninga (Bright), B&M (Brighter) and Supernova (Brightest). Whichever you chose they will have you visible and seeing the streets and more importantly people seeing you whether its full sunshine or pitch black.
All the lights we have selected come with 5-minute stand lights meaning you stay safe at even the slowest changing traffic lights. On/Off switches on all front lights mean your bike will not stand out to thieves when you pop into the pub and all packages come in either Black or Silver to match any Brompton.

Bespoke Dynamo Lighting Packages for Brompton folding bikes

- B&M (Brighter): The mid-level light set is brighter than most high-end battery lights. The premium B&M IQ-X 100 Lux front light with the ultra-visible B&M 2C rear light which has 2 bright LEDs and electronic safe stop this light set is perfect for those venturing out the city
- SUPERNOVA (Brightest): The Supernova E3 Pro-2 205 Lumen front light mounted to the ultra-low-profile NOV front light bracket and the E3 Tail Light 2 bringing up the rear. This pair will let you see on even the darkest nights, and at high speed.

DYNAMO FRONT WHEELS: We have worked hard to put together two different wheels that will cater to any rider's needs. Whether you are planning an all-out round the world trip, riding your daily commute in all seasons, or you just want an ultra-light and ultra-bright set up then we have the wheel for you. Both wheels use the low drag SP Dynamo hubs meaning you are not wasting valuable energy. Both wheels are built using super strong Stainless-Steel spokes so it doesn't matter how much weight you put on the front, it will stay true.

Using the premium 100 Lux Busch & Muller IQ-X front light mounted to the Brompton wire form light bracket with the compact yet ultra-visible B&M Toplight Mini Plus rear light which has a single high power LED and electronic safe stop. This light-set is perfect for those venturing out of the city.

Brompton is the only company we've seen that answers all three criteria - and believe us, we've tried every brand out there. The reason others can't compete is because Brompton has answered a fundamental engineering problem. If a bike is going to unfold to a large footprint (which takes the twitch out) then it is unfolding to a bigger bike - and by all logic, a bigger bike unfolded would be a bigger bike folded. So, it's pretty much true that for most folding bikes they either have great rideability but poor transportability or vice versa. And nearly all of them are a mess to fold.
Not Brompton. Brompton has designed the Platonic form of all folding bikes. The bike folds to the smallest size on the market, unfolds in a highly precise and easy manner, and has the same axle-to-axle footprint as a hybrid bike. How did they do this? By not only designing a clever frame, but also designing some 1200 proprietary parts that make everything fit - and fit perfectly. Oh, and nearly all of this is made in England. No wonder this bike has a cult following.
