A rear rack is an essential accessory for the cyclist with utility in mind. Adding very little to the bicycle in terms of weight, a rack brings serious potential to the average commuter, allowing you to ditch your sweaty backpack in favour of some functional panniers or a strong bungee strap. If you ride a bicycle with disc brakes for added stopping power, then finding a rack that doesn't interfere with their function can be a challenge unto itself. The Streamliner is made with this problem in mind, and fits snugly over disc brake rotors of any size.
