If you are using your Brompton in the towing position while shopping or walking through a train station however, then these are a must have upgrade.

A larger diameter wheel rolling on sealed industrial bearings and constructed from a heavier duty nylon material, these wheels will allow your folded bike to be smoothly pushed and pulled around to your hearts content.

Available in 5mm (which is suitable for older steel Brompton rear pannier racks) and 6mm sizes (which is suitable for all frame mount wheels and all post 2016 Aluminum rear racks). The 6mm set comes complete with a press-fit seat post bung which acts as a brake when folded.
