The Winter Tire is made exclusively for Brompton by German tire experts, Schwalbe. If you are a devoted (or crazy) person that rides your little folder throughout the winter in sub-zero temperatures then this awesome little spiked tire will get you through the season safely. 

Combining an aggressive yet fast rolling tread pattern with 72 Galvanized Steel spikes with carbide tips, these tires have all the grip needed for winter city riding and their narrow profile cuts through the snow and slush with ease. In order to ensure that the spikes are permanently fixed, tires should be run in for about 40km on asphalt, while avoiding any fast acceleration or heavy braking.
