This beautiful Nov Design 2/6 Speed Chain Tensioner Pro replaces the stock black plastic chain tensioner which is arguably the ugliest part on any Brompton bike. This direct replacement has been completely redesigned to save as much weight as possible while maintaining valuable strength. The design process has the added benefit of creating a beautiful design which will make any Brompton look fantastic!

The tensioner has been beautifully crafted from engineered plastics and uses a lighter weight spring and bolt giving a super light-weight package. As this model is made from plastic not metal it has a degree of flex which after extensive testing causes no issues at all and we highly recommend it. This model is designed exclusively for 2 and 6 speed Brompton bikes. We recommend using this with the stock Brompton Plastic or Nov Pro engineered plastic jockey wheels as aftermarket metal ones create more friction and effect performance.
