The Brompton Cable Fender Disc is fitted to all bikes without mudguards. It looks a bit weird, but plays an important role by preventing the front brake cable from rubbing against the front tire causing unnecessary wear and noise.

It's an essential little part. If you have lost yours or simply want to remove your mudguards for a more streamlined bike, then you will be needing this.
