The new P Line keeps what works and improves in areas to distinguish it even further from the C Line. Now, the upgrade to P Line appears to make more sense than before. The key updates are the carbon fork, alloy components, and updated drivetrain.
The steel mainframe remains with the titanium rear triangle. What's new is the carbon fork, taking a page from the T Line for a stiffer and lighter bike.
The alloy stem is changed to the beefier one akin to the G Line. With the new stem, you also get water bottle bosses. The crankset is also new, named the Alu Crankset 2.0. Without too much data available yet, it looks to be an aesthetic change more than a performance difference
The 12 speed drivetrain is Brompton's widest gear range and is designed for the city and weekend adventures. It's perfect for the avid cyclist looking for adventure or the city cyclist that has to take hills into account on their commute.
