We should all be grateful for bicycle tubes. The first two-wheelers didn't have them, instead running solid rubber tires that led to headaches and back pain. But, thanks to a simple pneumatic innovation, cycling is no longer a reason to fear for our physiology.
When purchasing a tube, it is very important to know what size you need, a detail that is always printed and can be found easily by checking on the sidewall of your tire. And, don't forget the right valve type: flat is Schrader, pointy is Presta.
We highly reccomend Schwalbe inner tubes because they excel in 3 key areas. Airtightness, Reliability and Size. Airtightness.
Airtightness: The purity of the rubber mixture is crucial to the quality of the tube. The base material is therefore sieved at enormous pressure through seven filters before being extruded. All tubes are inserted into a mould and inflated for vulcanization to ensure constant wall thickness and high air pressure retention.
Reliability: All tubes are inflated and stored for 24 hours in order to test for air pressure retention. Afterwards each, individual tube undergoes a careful visual inspection. This special quality control helps prevent unpleasant surprises and is why, over many years, Schwalbe tubes have become highly respected for outstanding reliability by bicycle dealers.
Size: Only high elasticity and good quality allows a tube to cover very many tire sizes. One Schwalbe tube for instance can be used for 28c - 47c tires. Only an extremely high-quality and reliable tube is up to to this requirement. So if you see an inner tube that can only be used for 23-25c Tires, Its cheap and do not buy it.

Schwalbe Company History: Schwalbe found its start in 1973 when founder Ralf Bohle started importing Korean bicycle tires to Germany. Using "Swallow" brand tires, Bohle opted to use the German translation of the original brand - "Schwalbe". Since founding, Schwalbe has built a reputation internationally for quality and durability, offering some of the best puncture-resistant tires on the market.
