This is a new service so please work with us and feel free to offer any helpful advice or comments! And, please use this service! It minimizes in-store contact and also keeps our amazing staff employed during the Covid-19 crisis. How does this work? Choose a day, we'll arrange time for a pick-up, do a quick assessment, perform a more detailed assessment at the shop, contact you with the time/cost estimate for your approval, perform the repair, disinfect, and arrange a time for drop-off. Oh, and please let us know if your bike is a cargo bike, folding bike, or regular bike in the 'special notes' section at checkout (that way we know what vehicle to bring when picking up your bike!)

Our Mechanics are as special as Curbside : While most bike stores carry sporty bikes (mostly for for men), our mechanics are an inclusive bunch of specialists who fix an inclusive range of bikes! Whether your bike is old or new, a city bike, cargo bike, folding bike, or e-assist bike, and no matter what technologies - belt drives, hydraulics, dynamos, internal gears, drum brakes - we know how to keep your bike performing and you the rider safe!

Can you drop by and do a small repair?

We're working on it and this is certainly our intention. However, right now we're trying to figure out how to process transactions remotely but also what spare parts we would have to transport. More to follow! 

What do you mean, you'll assess the bike on the spot and then at the store? 

The person picking up your bike won't necessarily be one of our professional mechanics as they are busy doing work. The initial assessment is more of a quick safety check to ensure the bike is worth fixing. Once the bike is at the store we will do a complete assessment and call/email you to discuss what's required. We are comfortable removing suggested items from a repair, but we will not cut corners at the customers request when the matter is one of safety. 

How long will it take? 

Once your bike is here we will allocate it to the proper specialist and their repair backlog. If you are after a guaranteed time, then please book a repair appointment and make sure you select the pick up on the same day as the appointment! We will drop off the bike when it is done. 

Can I book an online appointment and select the pick-up service?

You bet! just make sure the pickup day is the same day as the appointment day (earlier is fine too!)


Can I still just bring my bike right through the store? 

Right now to minimize contact we're asking everybody to bring repairs to our back door. It's in the back alley behind the shop that you can access from Howland Ave or Brunswick Ave. Just give a knock on our back door and our mechanic will be right with you! (Please note that cargo bikes will still come through the front door)
