We believe dynamo lighting should be on all city bikes and the Brompton should be no exception. Standard dynamo kits just won't do though as they can be heavy, have lots of drag and as the spacing on a Brompton is narrower most simply don't fit. This is why we hand build our own wheels using ultra-low drag SP Dynamo hubs.
Whether you are planning an all-out round the world trip or you just want an ultra-light set up then we have the wheel for you. Using the ultra-low drag SP Dynamo hubs means you are not wasting valuable energy and a choice of Brompton or high grade Velocity rims. Both wheels are built using super strong Stainless-Steel spokes so it doesn't matter how much weight you put on the front, your wheel will stay true.
Each wheel is hand built to order by our mechanics with the option for Standard (SV-8/Brompton) for general city riding or the Super-Light (SV-9/Velocity) for those of you that travel lots or are just more weight conscious.
