SECURITY OPTIONS

It's a tough world out there and to battle it, you need to know your enemy. The large majority of thieves aren't looking for good bikes; they're looking for bad locks. A recent McGill study showed that most bicycle theft is constituted by low-reward in exchange for low-risk (you can read more about this here). Cable locks are cut with cable-cutters and cheap U-locks are bent open with crowbars. Here are the locks you need to keep your bike secure!

CARRYING STUFF?

Your Pelago is all about going to work, picnics and grocery shopping. But, it's your choice whether you want a front rack or rear rack. The front rack looks incredibly cool and lets you keep eyes on your stuff. The rear rack allows for a lot more capacity.

Your Pelago already comes with fenders and kickstand, but it does not come with lights - which are required by law! Luckily, your 3-speed Pelago is equipped for permanently bolted-on lights that are theft resistant (and also look super stylish). 7-speed Pelago bikes come stock with dynamo front and rear lights!
